Tournaments Rules
Single-Table Sit & Go
- Unless specified as a play-money tournament, all buy-in fees and
entry fee requirements must be met before a player is eligible to enter
a single-table tournament. Entrance requirements must be met before the
start of each event.
- Once 2 to 9 players have registered and taken their seat, all Texas
Hold'em and Omaha poker tournaments will start automatically. Seven
registered and seated players are required to automatically start a
Seven Card Stud poker tournament. Players are allowed to play in only
one tournament at a time.
- The online poker tournament will end once one player has won all the
chips. No additional buy-ins are allowed after a player has made his/her
first bet. Once a player has lost all of their chips, they are
automatically eliminated from the poker tournament.
- With each buy-in tournament the prize
pool will always be the total buy-in fees multiplied by the number of
players, with the top three finishers receiving approximately 50%, 30%,
and 20% respectively. See example below:

- The entry fee takes the place of the rake.
- All players in standard tournaments will start with 1000 tournament
chips. Players in No-Limit and Pot-Limit tournaments will start with
1500 tournament chips. Note that tournament chips have no monetary
value.
- After every 5 games played the limits, blinds, and bets rise as
specified in the tournament entry screen.
- Each of the first seven levels in Texas Hold'em or Omaha will last 5
games. The final (8th) level continues until the winner is declared.
Seven Card Stud plays up to 10 levels.
- To start each online poker tournament, each player is dealt one card
face up. The player with the highest card receives the dealer button for
the first hand. Suits based on the following order determine the winner
in case of a tie in high card: spades, hearts, diamonds, and clubs.
- During Heads-up (One-on-One) the small blind has the button and acts
first, before the flop, when playing Texas Hold'em or Omaha poker
tournaments.
- There is a maximum of three raises, or a total of four bets per
round. When only two players remain, a maximum of five raises or six
bets are allowed.
- To ensure that the big blind does unfairly miss the next player in
order, if the player in the small blind is eliminated, the button will
not advance when playing in Texas Hold'em or Omaha poker tournaments. If
a player who is the big blind is eliminated, the button moves and one
player has the benefit of not posting the big blind for that round. All
players have an equal opportunity to benefit from this scenario.
- After a certain period of time has elapsed during a single-table
tournament a one or two minute break will occur.
- If more than one player is eliminated during the same hand, the
player who started the hand with the most chips will be ranked higher in
tournament standings. If the players started the hand with an equal
amount of chips, they will tie for the position. In the situation where
two or more players tie for a position, the prizes will be equally
distributed amongst them. For example, if two players tie for 4th place,
each player will receive 50% of the 2nd place prize and 50% of the 3rd
place prize.
- No soft playing should occur. No exceptions.
- Play continues until a player has lost all their chips or has been
declared the tournament winner.
- If during any online poker tournament a player loses their Internet
connection or their computer freezes, and they have chips at stake in
the hand and still have All-in protection, they are placed All-in based
on the All-in rules.
- NOTICE: If a player does not have access to another All-in, and they
fail to re-connect or they fail to act, their hands are automatically
folded and their blinds are automatically posted when appropriate. The
player will subsequently be "blinded out" if they fail to re-connect to
the poker tournament table.
Multi-Table
- See the Tournament Lobby for all online poker tournament schedules
and start times.
- Upon entering the table, you will be randomly assigned to a seat and
will not be allowed to change your seat.
- When two players remain, the button will post the small blind, and
act first on the opening round.
- Disconnects.
By participating in an online poker tournament, a player accepts the
risk of Internet disconnection due to problems with the connection
between their computer and the servers, lag or freeze, or other problems
in the player's computer. This site does not accept any responsibility
for a player disconnect except in the case of a server crash.
If a player times out during a hand, whether connected or disconnected,
the hand will be folded.
If a player is not connected before a hand starts, he or she will be
dealt cards, a blind or an ante will be posted, and then a hand will be
folded automatically.
- A bet and three raises are permitted in structured limit
tournaments. There is no raise cap in pot-limit and no-limit
tournaments.
- As players are eliminated from the online poker tournament, the
software may balance tables to ensure all tables have an equal number
(or as close as possible) of active players. The balancing of tables is
done randomly and, although rare, may result in a player having to post
several big blinds in a row. When nine players remain in a Texas Hold'em
or Omaha poker tournament, or eight players remain in a Seven Card Stud
tournament, all players are brought together at the "final table".
- Prizes will be awarded as stated in the Tournament Lobby.
- In the event of a server crash, the hands in progress at every table
will be restored by rolling back these hands. Each player's chip count
will be reset to the amount at the beginning of the hand. In special
circumstances, when it is impossible to restart a tournament after the
crash, it will be cancelled and the unclaimed portion of the prize pool
will be equally divided among all remaining players.
- Observers are welcome and are expected to use the chat responsibly.
- No discussion of a hand is allowed during that hand.
- No soft playing should occur. No exceptions.
- Once one player has won all the chips, the online poker tournament
will officially end.
- Un-registered: A player is able to un-register up to 30 minutes
before the start of an online poker tournament. Players who have won
their seats through a satellite can not un-register.
- In case of disputes, the site management decision will be final.
